Sales user permissions
The three checkboxes that control who can access Sales and what they can see and do.
This page is about . Your system is set to a different one, so the screens and behaviour here may not match what you see. Use the switch at the top of the contents to change it.
Overview
Sales access is controlled per-user from the Scheduler’s Users settings, alongside every other per-user permission - it isn’t a separate admin panel.
The checkboxes
Open Users from the Scheduler’s admin settings and edit a user to find:
- Can access Sales Lead Portal - lets the user log into Sales at all
- Is Sales Person - marks them as a salesperson, so they appear as an option in the Sales Person filter and can be assigned leads
- Can delete Sales Lead Portal - lets them delete leads, not just create and edit them
Admin vs non-admin
Whether a user is a Tradie admin (a separate, existing setting) changes what they see once they’re in Sales:
| Admin | Non-admin | |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard leads | Everyone’s | Only leads they personally created |
| Sales Person filter | Visible | Hidden |
| Sales Person field on Create Lead | Visible, choose anyone | Hidden, silently defaults to themselves |
| Leads list | Everyone’s accessible leads | Their own, plus any they’re assigned to |
| Deleting leads | Governed by Can delete Sales Lead Portal | Governed by Can delete Sales Lead Portal |
Tip
A non-admin salesperson who needs to see the whole pipeline (not just their own leads) needs to be made an admin - there’s no separate “see everyone’s leads but isn’t an admin” setting.
