Submitting forms & questionnaires
Save a finished form, what happens to it next, and what to do without signal.
Tapping Save on a finished form sends it in. The office can then open it in the Scheduler, and your company may also have it attached to the job or emailed as a PDF.
Step by step: submit a form
- Answer the questions. Required ones must be filled in.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Save.
- If anything required is missing, the form says which question - answer it and tap Save again.
The buttons at the bottom
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Save | Sends the finished form in |
| Save Draft | Keeps it on the phone to finish later. Only on forms your office allows drafts for |
| Delete | Throws away a draft you reopened |
| Cancel | Leaves without saving |
See Save a form and finish it later for drafts.
What happens next
- The office can see it in the Scheduler’s Completed Forms window, and download it as Word or PDF.
- It may be attached to the job in your accounting system, if your office set the form up that way.
- It may be emailed as a PDF to addresses your office chose.
Which of these happen is set per form by the office.
Without signal
You can fill in and save a form offline. You will see a message that it was saved offline and will be sent once you are back online. It goes automatically - you do not need to save it again.
Starting from an earlier form
On a job’s Close tab, Load Past Checklists lists forms filled in on earlier visits. Copy as New Draft starts a new form with those answers, so you only change what is different.
Correcting a saved form
A saved form cannot be reopened and changed from the phone. Fill in a new one, or ask the office.
