Submit your timesheet
Save the timesheet to send your new entries in, and check they went through.
The time entries you add sit under New timesheet entries until you tap Save timesheet. Saving sends them in, and they move into your history, where they can no longer be changed from the phone.
Step by step: save your timesheet
- Open Time Sheet from the home screen.
- Check the entries under New timesheet entries, and the total beside the heading. Tap any that need fixing - see Edit logged time.
- Tap Save timesheet.
- Confirm Save Timesheet? with YES.
The entries are sent and the list empties. Your saved time then appears in the history lower down the screen, grouped by day.
Your company may have renamed Save timesheet, or turned it off so that the office sends timesheets in instead. If you have no save button, ask the office how they want your time.
When to save
Your company sets the routine - at the end of each day, or when the week is done. Saving often does no harm; nothing is lost by sending a short day.
After saving
- The entries are fixed. You cannot edit or delete a saved entry from the phone. Ask the office to correct it.
- You can keep adding time. New entries start a fresh list under New timesheet entries.
Without signal
Save the timesheet when you have coverage. Entries you add offline are kept on the phone and sent when you reconnect; an entry still waiting says Timesheet not saved to server due to no internet connectivity. See Working offline.
Troubleshooting
- An entry stays in New timesheet entries after saving. It has not reached the office yet. Check you have signal and save again.
- You saved by mistake. Ask the office to correct the entry.
